Four sweet little children start their mornings chewing on stale bread. They don’t know that such poor nutrition can lead to a deadly disease—tuberculosis, which often ends in death. These children must be saved from hunger—urgently! You will cry when you see the terrible conditions this family is living in. Hunger, cold, ruin – and no money for immediate medical exams. (Kareli Municipality, Tsveri village)

Lali (9-year-old): “Look how fairly Mama split this piece of bread between us! The only bad thing is that sometimes we have no food at all… Then my tummy hurts, and I can’t even run because I’m so weak. And Mama didn’t save any bread for herself. They say all moms are like that.”

Gio (7-years-old): “Don’t be surprised, Auntie – we’re poor. There are six of us in this one small room.”

Gio: “But that’s not even the worst part. When it rains, everything gets soaked—our clothes, the walls, the beds… Even the wallpaper gets soggy. And the ceiling turned black from mold. Maybe it has tuberculosis too?”

Lizi (8-year-old): “We have just one window—and it’s broken. The wind blows in through the cracks.”

Gio: “We all sleep on this half-broken bed – four of us.”

Gio: “We don’t even have a bathroom. We wash in a plastic basin.”

Gio: “A gas stove? Never heard of it! Mama cooks on a wood-burning stove. My brother and I help her – we go collect firewood.”

Gio: “A branch hit me in the eye the other day. There was blood, and I got so scared. Now my eye really, really hurts. My parents can’t afford to take me to a doctor… What if I go blind? What should I do?”

Ketevan, mother (26 years old): “My husband is seriously ill – he has tuberculosis and a stomach condition. He barely eats anything. But we have no money for doctors or medicine. Our first concern is feeding the kids. Please help us get medical checkups. If something happens to my husband, what will become of my children? Who will take care of them? We survive only on social allowance. We have to buy food on credit—just to stay alive.”

Dear friends, the children need beds, warm blankets, clothes – and most importantly, food. They also need a repaired roof and a new window so they can stay warm and dry when it rains. These little ones have already suffered too much. But we can ease their suffering. Please help this large family in need.
And may the Lord repay your kindness a hundredfold.

REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS GET CLOSER TO THE WORK OF MERCY!

When Gio used to sleep on an old, cramped bed with his brother Gabriel and their two sisters, there was nothing to laugh about. What joy could there be on an empty stomach and in torn shoes?

But today, Gio is making the whole house laugh – his sisters, Gabriel, everyone. As the children admire their new mirror-finished table, Gio points out with a grin:
“Two Gios, two Gabis, two Lizis, two Lalis!”
He doesn’t let anyone lie still on their new beds. As soon as someone stretches out and gets comfortable, Gio jumps up and starts tickling them. He’s the first to run and open the new window, and right behind him come Lali, Lizi, and Gabriel, laughing and waving out of it. As the Foundation staff unpack food from the bags, Gio gives every item a funny nickname. “The mortadella? That one’s Chubby!”

Even beyond the house gates, you can hear the children’s joyful laughter. Turn on our video and watch the celebration in the Buturishvili family! The children also received a TV, a washing machine, a blender, a meat grinder, an electric kettle, a wardrobe, clothes, toys, school supplies…Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, dear friends, for giving them so many reasons to smile!

At the Fund, we truly believe that the Lord sees your kindness instantly – and your life will surely change for the better. Just look at how happy these children are! And yet, we must share something that may sadden you – though we know most of you will understand. In families like this, living in conditions comparable to those in the poorest regions of Africa, problems never completely go away… Because in our country, corruption and poverty continue to grow.
This family, to whom you’ve already given so much happiness – with so many children and so much joy – now especially needs a proper gas stove and a real bathroom for the kids. The father of the family is seriously ill and unable to do even the basics for his family.… They are now our family, and our responsibility. Thank God for that, dear friends! Because helping a stranger is a gift from God – a gift to our conscience. And now, their joys are ours too. When the children grow up, we’ll celebrate their victories in life together.
