Every day is a living hell for Gayane, who suffers from severe hydrocephalus.

She can’t walk and spends the entire day lying motionless. Her body hurts. It’s unbearable. But the Lord has given us the chance to help ease her suffering. She urgently needs a bed, an anti-bedsore mattress, and a wheelchair. Right now, she moves around the house on a tricycle. You’ve probably never seen anything like it.

Gayane (37-year-old): “Just look at what my legs have become after an unsuccessful surgery. The doctors promised I’d be able to walk again, but instead they made me a bedridden disabled person. And nothing cam be fixed now. God, why do I deserve such suffering? For what fault?

Gayane was born with a severe condition – hydrocephalus. But her parents didn’t learn about it until she was five, when her head began to grow abnormally. The fluid building up in her brain caused excruciating pain and fainting spells. She needed urgent surgery, and a shunt was implanted in her head to drain the fluid.

Friends, instead of a wheelchair, Gayane has a tricycle.

Because her mother is also seriously ill, Gayane must move around on her own – even go outside from time to time. Thankfully, there are now wheelchairs that can go both up and down stairs. Isn’t that a miracle?

Depending on how much is raised – up to $7,000 – we could give a woman condemned to suffering a chance at a better life.

This is how she moves around the house now, and how far she can make it – to the stairwell. But no farther. She lives on the fifth floor of a building with no elevator.

After her father died, Gayane didn’t go outside for two years. Poor Gayane… She stares out the window, imagining that the happy woman walking in the park with her children is her. But then reality crashes back down. She knows she will likely leave this world without ever hearing a child call her “mom.”

Gayane’s mother is her guardian angel Who became her hands and her feet.

“Who will take care of my girl when I’m gone?” sobs the heartbroken mother, tears streaming down her face.

Gulnara (63 years old): “My daughter and I are completely alone. There’s no one to ask for help. Recently, my blood pressure spiked, and I collapsed, injuring my knee. Gayane was so distressed, we had to call an ambulance for her.”

On top of everything, Gulnara also cares for her gravely ill sister.

Seda has cancer. She had a mastectomy. Later, metastases were found in her spleen, and it had to be removed too. The whole family lives off the pension of this woman, worn down by a cruel illness. But it’s not enough – for food, or for medicine.

Seda (71-year-old): “The doctors have found metastases again. I don’t know if I’ll live to see tomorrow. I’m afraid I’ll die, and my sister will be left with a sick child and no means to survive…”

Do you know how these people live – people who love the Lord with all their hearts and place their hope only in His mercy? They don’t even have basic necessities in their home: no hot water (they need a water heater), no washing machine, no refrigerator.

Gulnara cleans stairwells to feed her family. It’s a miracle that this poor woman still has the strength to keep going.

This kind, close-knit family needs help. Not a miracle – you. Your kind heart. Your willingness to do something good for people you’ve never even met.

A proper bed and a wheelchair would make Gayane’s life so much easier. Her exhausted mother needs a washing machine and a water heater – she’s taking care of two seriously ill loved ones. They also need food and medicine. Please don’t leave them alone with their pain and struggles. Lend a hand – and God will bless you for it.
