Mamuka is 57 years old. He has buried both of his sons.
One was 21. The other, 23.

REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS TO GET CLOSER TO GOD!

There were four people living in this house once. Today, Mamuka is alone. One of his sons suffered from such severe pain that he could no longer bear it and took his own life.

The other went to Turkey to work on a construction site. He wanted to earn money, get married, build his own home, have children. He plunged from the sixth floor. His dream ended on the concrete before he ever had the chance to become a father.

Sometimes life doesn’t break a person all at once. It does it slowly.
First, it took his wife. She left when the boys were still small and never came back.
Then it took his youth – spent in endless hard labor in other people’s fields and on construction sites
And finally, it took what mattered most.

Mamuka raised his sons alone. He worked every day – heavy physical labor, construction jobs, day work – whatever he could find. All so there would be bread on the table. He never complained. He bore it all without complaint.

Now there is no one left to bear it for.

Last winter, Abasha was hit by heavy snow, and his roof couldn’t bear the weight. It cracked, sagged, and eventually began to leak.

Now water drips from the ceiling, the walls are damp, and the house is so cold you can see your breath.

The cold is hard, but the silence is harder.

Mamuka has serious health problems. Severe hip joint issues, constant pain in his knees. He can barely walk. His heart troubles him more and more often. In 2020, he had surgery on one leg. The other also needs surgery, but there is no money for it. Every step is painful.

He lives alone. No children. No wife. No support. There is a particular cruelty in a father burying his sons. There is a particular emptiness in a house where the word “Dad” will never be heard again.

Today, he needs help:
– repairing the roof so the water stops destroying his only home;
– insulating the house;
– funds for medical treatment and surgery;
– basic food and essential household items.

At 57, a man should be leaning on his children.
Instead, he leans on a cane – and on walls that could give way at any moment. We can become like family to Mamuka if we take his hardship to heart.

We’re planning to begin repairs soon.

We cannot bring his sons back, but we can – and should – help him rebuild his home. And sometimes, even a simple phone call can mean more than we realize.

Let’s find room in our hearts for this dignified Georgian man. Just as the Lord comes to our aid when we call on Him. We are human beings, created — as the Bible says — in His image and likeness.

If you are willing to visit them and help them in person, here is her address: Abasha Munıcıpalıty, vıllage Gamogma Zanatı

YOU HELPED – THANK YOU!

Beautiful Mingrelia, and a house with a burgundy roof surrounded by a sea of trees.

Not long ago, the house standing here was on the verge of collapse, almost without a roof.

Now, anyone driving along this road can see from afar that a beautiful house is being built here.
And the inspiration for this construction is you – kind-hearted people!

Today, we, representatives of the “Chernovetskyi Fund,” traveled from Tbilisi to Abasha to see with our own eyes and show you how the construction is progressing.
Это кирпич, This is a brick that not only builds walls, but has also built hope and faith for one of the most unfortunate, and at the same time heroic, fathers in Georgia.

Mamuka Miminoshvili raised his children without a wife. He was both father and mother to Soso and Roman. But cruel fate took both of his sons, one after another. The grieving father buried his boys with his own hands – at the ages of 22 and 28.

The sky fell on the head of this heroic father, but he continued to live in order to fulfill his sons’ dearest dream and honor their memory.

It is true – Soso and Roman, who grew up in hardship, worked tirelessly to rebuild their old family home from scratch. If you had offered the brothers a palace in another land, they would have refused to live there.

Sadly, cruel death took both young men from our beautiful homeland before they could fulfill their dream. And so the broken-hearted father went through a double hell.

What could a disabled man do? How could he, living on a pension alone, fulfill the dream of his deceased sons?

Only pain remained. And a ruined house.
But then you came.
In one hour – a wave of kindness.
In one month – a house rose.

Mamuka Miminoshvili: “Completely unknown people from all over Georgia called me. They came just to visit me. The help they gave me is so priceless that I pray to God for only one thing – that one day I will be able to do at least half of this for others in need.

Mamuka Miminoshvili: “And one morning, I received a call from the ‘Chernovetskyi Fund,’ and I heard the words: ‘Mr. Mamuka, get ready! Your dream and your sons’ dream is becoming reality. Thanks to the donations of the Fund’s friends, we are starting construction of your house. Get ready!’”
And now, in the very yard where just a month ago there was complete despair, the sound of construction can be heard.

Mamuka Miminoshvili: “The Chernovetskyi Fund and its friends gave me back the strength to live. The prayer of a father who has lost his children has great power.

And every morning I begin with a prayer to God for each of you – for those who donated even 1 lari, so that the souls of my departed sons may find peace.
You did this so that I could live my remaining years with dignity, and not like a homeless dog soaked in rain and snow.
When your Fund published the video, I had only 70 tetri on my pension card. And suddenly I saw – 3 lari had been credited.

Maybe that person needed those 3 lari more than I did, but he did not spare them for me. I have one request, daughter,” he said to me, the Fund journalist. “Maybe the Fund can help me find that person.”

Friends, as you know, Mamuka cannot move without crutches. But the kindness you showed gave him so much strength that he joined the construction work himself and even taught me, the Fund journalist, how to use an electric saw!

The “Chernovetskyi Fund” also thanks you for not forgetting, beyond the house itself, about furniture, appliances, and all the essential things that will allow this kind and heroic father to live with dignity.

The day came to an end… The sky turned crimson. It was time for the Fund representatives to return to Tbilisi.

Saying goodbye, I noticed sadness in Mamuka’s eyes.  The sadness of loneliness. The heroic father asked me, the Fund journalist, not to forget to pass on his message to all the people of Georgia.

Mamuka Miminoshvili: “If you are passing by – come in. Become my children… even for a minute.”
  “When my time comes, I will go to that world where my boys are waiting for me. And there, before the Lord, I will be able to speak even more fully about the kindness of each of you.”
