A life cut short in an instant! The tragedy of two Georgian brothers has shocked the entire country. One day, brothers Levan and Revaz were traveling from the village of Badiauri to Tbilisi to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Unfortunately, their friend’s birthday turned into a tragedy for the Usupashvili brothers. The brothers were hit by a car in the street. 29-year-old Revaz died (father of 5-year-old Anano).

“Will daddy come back soon?” Oh God, how painful it is to hear such words from a child!

Levan was in a coma for 21 days. He underwent two surgeries, but unfortunately the young man is now paralyzed.

“When I came out of the coma, the first thing I asked about was my brother. They told me he was also in the hospital, in another ward. When I started feeling a little better and was moved to another room, I asked one of the patients for a phone and called my brother. A recorded message said the phone was switched off.

“Then I went to his social media page and… saw condolences from people… I lost consciousness.”

His disability did not diminish true love.

24 hours a day, this fragile young woman does not leave her beloved husband alone and performs the work of a nurse (the family has no means to hire one).

Alena (22 years old): We only wanted happiness in our newly created home, we dreamed of many children. What will happen next? Will Levan and I die without ever feeling the love of our children?!

Friends, Levan’s rehabilitation has stopped due to lack of funds. God, how unjust this is… although during rehabilitation his progress was even better than doctors expected.

If Levan does not urgently continue treatment, another Georgian young man will permanently lose the chance to stand on his feet again. He will never be able to become a father and will remain bedridden for life. And he is only 25… his whole life should still be ahead of him.

The Usupashvili family does not even have a window in their home.

Friends, looking at these photos, you can probably see for yourselves that there is nothing in the Usupashvili household that could be sold to even buy medicine worth 5 lari, let alone expensive rehabilitation.
