It feels as though this house is held together not by its foundation, but by the love these parents have for their children.

It stands just a few kilometers from the occupation line, where people live every day uncertain about what tomorrow may bring.

But for this family, the hardest battle is not taking place outside their window. It is being fought inside their own home — a daily struggle against poverty.

The old windows let in the cold wind, the walls are in desperate need of repair, and there is often not enough money for even the most basic necessities.

The house is falling apart faster than the family can repair it on their own.

Children are growing up here. Every day, their parents do everything they can to keep them fed, keep them warm, and give them at least a small piece of a carefree childhood.

But when there is almost no money left and the cost of living keeps rising, even putting a simple dinner on the table becomes a challenge.

The family gave up dreaming about a new home or a major renovation long ago. Those things feel completely out of reach.

All their energy goes into making sure the children have enough to eat and the essentials they need to get by.

This large family needs food, clothing, household essentials, and help repairing their home — especially the windows that allow both the cold and a sense of hopelessness to enter their living space.

But we can help change this family’s story. We can show these parents that they are not alone in their struggle and help their children see that kindness still exists, even in places where life tests people every single day.
