REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS TO GET CLOSER TO THE WORK OF MERCY!

Life for Eka is pain, suffering, and a constant trial for her soul.

“The pain is getting worse with each passing day… It feels like thousands of nails being driven into my back simultaneously. Breathing is painful. My spine is so twisted that all my internal organs are deformed. I wonder how they are still functioning. To keep living and not die prematurely, I urgently need to undergo surgery. It will be like my second birth.” But with our income, I could never save up such an amount in three lifetimes. That’s why I addressed you. I know that God will send me the right people through you.’ Eka has the most severe form of scoliosis, and her entire body is deformed. While this condition used to bring her only discomfort, now it slowly kills the girl. “This disease spared no one, and Eka is not an exception. People don’t die from scoliosis, but from the complications that accompany this disease. Eka finds it hard to breathe right now, and later, she won’t be able to eat… and what then?

“I had to give up many things because of my condition and height”

Eka: I’ve always been a strong girl. I never gave up. My condition never prevented me from living my life. I wanted to study, and I did! I’ve never fallen into depression, even realizing that no one will love me like this, that I’ll never be able to start a family, give birth to a child…

“I was lucky with my school friends; they helped me with everything!”

– What difficulties did you experience in childhood because of your condition?

Eka: I’ve always been a strong girl. I never gave up. My condition never prevented me from living my life. I wanted to study, and I did! I’ve never fallen into depression, even realizing that no one will love me like this, that I’ll never be able to start a family, give birth to a child… I`ve never, never complained to God why He made me like this. I accept myself as I am. Of course, I experience significant difficulties, but I don’t give up. I haven’t even given up on my dream of learning the Turkish language.

“You can always dream – the main thing is to have God in your heart”

– Why did you decide to learn Turkish?

Eka: I’ve always liked Turkish; it’s a very melodic language. But I also have a practical interest in it. The surgery I need can’t be done in Georgia; Turkish doctors perform it. So, my knowledge will come in handy for communicating with them. If everything goes well, I’ll be able to help other seriously ill patients with translations into Turkish. Right now, I’m getting help, and later, I’ll be able to give back.

“When I was little, I didn’t understand that I was different from others. By the age of 14, when everyone else started growing, and I didn’t – I realized that something was not right with me”

– Eka, have you ever thought, if it weren’t for your condition, what would your life be like?

Eka: I can’t say that I often think about it. I’ve accepted my condition and got used to it. Perhaps I would have been more active, learned to drive a car, perhaps there would have been many interesting things in my life. Since childhood, I’ve seen how my mom and dad have done their best for my sake. How can I be dissatisfied with anything? How can I show that I’m unhappy? I think it’s my mom who suffers more because of my condition than I do. It’s definitely harder for moms to see their children go through such challenges.

“Thanks to my mom’s support, I’ve become strong, and it’s not so easy to break me”

– Ека, you are strong! How do you manage to be so strong?

Eka: I’ve always tried to be optimistic and friendly. My nature helped me maintain faith in myself and not feel embarrassed because of my appearance. I’ve seen many “problem-free” people who felt worse than I did. I realized that it all comes from your thinking! Besides, who am I to manipulate people around me because of my condition? I’m not the center of the universe, am I? Everyone has their own life, and everyone should live it the way they can.

“Don’t think that the world revolves around you. I’m no better than anyone else”

– When did you realize you were different from everyone else?

Eka: I was probably 14 years old. In school, everyone grew up all at once, and I remained small. But I was lucky to have loving people around me. They never made fun of me, never paid attention to my physical flaw. And I also love people very much. They always willingly helped me in school and at university.

“Any movement causes me immense pain. But I can’t impose my suffering on those I love”

– What do you feel knowing that the surgery could relieve you of pain?

Eka: It’s like a light at the end of the tunnel. My hope for the surgery gives me the strength to fight every day. I know that along with the physical pain, the emotional suffering will also go away. If it weren’t for this unbearable pain, I wouldn’t have decided on such a complex and expensive operation, but I have no choice now. I just don’t want to die in pain. I can’t sit, I can’t stand… even when I lie down, everything hurts.

“I’m waiting for your help! My future life depends on it!”

– How much does the surgery cost?

Eka: This is not just surgery but bringing me back to life. They can make me a person who isn’t in pain! It costs $45,000. But our family can’t gather such an amount in several lifetimes. We’ve addressed the Ministry of Health, the city hall, collected funds from everyone we could, and now there’s a decisive amount left – 11,000 lari. I’ve already run out of all hope, so I addressed you. Your Fund has almost all of Georgia among its friends, and I believe they can help me!

And now, when we understand Eka’s suffering and dreams, let’s imagine what would happen if she doesn’t have the surgery. Eka, despite her angelic character and strong spirit, is at risk of losing the ability to lead a full life. She is at risk of worsening pain and further limitation of mobility. Her dream of helping other people may go unfulfilled. She simply won’t be able to get up and will be condemned to eternal agony.

We see that Eka has the opportunity to regain a normal life through the surgery in Turkey. She has done a lot to achieve her goals, and now she needs our help. What would you do in her place? Probably, you would reach out to all your friends, family, and even strangers to gather the necessary funds for the surgery. Cases like this show that when we join our efforts, we can give hope and a new life. The state and the Ministry of Health have partially funded this expensive surgery, and if we don’t collect the remaining part (of about 11,000 lari), Eka may have to say goodbye to her dream of a future life…  Let’s help Eka bear this burden and give her hope for a better future.

If you are willing to visit this family and help them in person, here is their address: Batumi, Khelvachauri, 9 Khalvashi Turn. Apartment 20.

Every time you can help someone, just do it, and rejoice that God answers someone’s prayers through you!

We are sure that all together we will manage to save Eka from imminent death.

Please don’t forget to repost our story. Let your friends know about the grief of this family! It’s extremely important!

WITH YOU COMES A NEW LIFE, JOY, AND VICTORY! THANK YOU TO THE READERS FOR THIS PRICELESS GIFT!

REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN!  HELP YOUR FRIENDS TO GET CLOSER  TO THE WORK OF MERCY!

I’m grateful to you not just for improving my posture; you’ve done so much more – you saved my life!

 – If I hadn’t undergone the spine surgery, I probably wouldn’t be alive in 5 years, – says Eka Shavadze.

My scoliosis, initially at 120 degrees, has reduced to 30! I want to express my gratitude not just for correcting my posture but for saving my life.

Now, I breathe freely, and nothing compresses my lungs. When I look in the mirror, I see how my body has transformed. I feel more confident, have become bolder in thinking about the future, and dare to hope for more. It’s a miracle; things have become small, and I need to change my wardrobe. For this miracle in my life, I want to extend a special thanks to each of you!

This is how Eka’s back looked before the surgery

Now, visually, scoliosis is almost imperceptible

– Eka, have the unbearable pains caused by the severe spinal deformity disappeared?

Eka: Look, there is only moderate postoperative pain, which is normal for the rehabilitation period and will gradually disappear.  I only take vitamins and coping without painkillers. They actually rebuilt my spine, performed its complete reconstruction.   It used to be like a wavy line, and now platinum structures keep it straight. My body is getting used to foreign elements now, and the spine is adapting to standing at attention (smiles).

Before, my spine was twisted and wavy

It underwent a complete reconstruction, and the platinum structures now keep it straight. Look at how my torso has straightened!

I am thrilled that my long-standing dream has finally come true! I had both the desire and fear of the operation. For years, I searched for a doctor willing to take on such responsibility and sought the means. In Georgia, no one dared, warning about potential disability  – ‘Now you can walk, but what if you can’t later?’

In Turkey, in Mersin, I was fortunate enough to find a place willing to perform such an operation. The state funded $35,000, but we still had to find another $5,000 ourselves. Your Fund is highly respected throughout Georgia; I’ve seen so many success stories, and it gave me great hope! The Chernovetskyi Fund and its readers are associated with happiness, victory, joy, and a new life for me. You helped me reach my dream!

In the Turkish clinic

– Eka, do you know how this joy ignites readers and employees of the Fund?!  We’re ready to move mountains, eager to help many others so that their lives take a sharp turn towards happiness! I’d like to know, what was your first thought after waking up from anesthesia? Did fear creep in – what if something went wrong?

Eka: Right from the start, they were transparent about the risks: the possibility of paralysis, bleeding… But still, I dared to undergo it. The surgery is extremely complex, time-consuming, lasting 9 hours… It involves the central nervous system, requiring utmost caution…

Oh, I was terrified. When I woke up from anesthesia, I started checking myself, feeling my body, hands, legs… Thank God that I started walking on the second day, and the worries subsided. I had to wear an orthopedic back brace for three months, but I managed to convince the doctor to let me wear it for only two.

– You know, us women, we don’t like to look unattractive. Was that a reason?

Eka: Well, that too.  But the brace initially fitted me well while my body was still swollen after the surgery, and then it started to loosen.

When I look at myself in the mirror, I see that my body has clearly changed its shape. My torso is straight!  From the side and from the back (I see this in photos), the hump is no longer visible.  It has become almost unnoticeable.

From the left side, scoliosis is also no longer visible

My shirts and jackets have become small!  They ride up above the waist, like children’s clothes on me.  gave away everything, donated. I bought new ones.

As they promised to me, my body has stretched out, and there will be additional height gain when I fully recover.

– Eka, how’s your mood, your self-perception?

Eka: My self-esteem has definitely grown.  I feel more confident and bolder – something I always lacked. It’s a pleasant feeling, unfamiliar to me.  It’s great.

I think warmly about the people who helped me. They donated a part of their lives for me. The most precious resource a person has is time. The most valuable gift. I wonder how many people have given me such a priceless gift—shared their time and resources with me! It brings tears to my eyes and a lump in my throat. Your moral support during the rehabilitation period also makes me strong.

My dear people, thank you!  Everything in this world comes back. I truly hope that my assistance will be useful to someone when I am fully healthy and that I, too, can empower someone.

– Ekа, what challenges are still there, and how else could we help?

Eka: Thanks to God’s grace and your support, the most significant issue in my life has been resolved. Now, we are dealing with another matter through a second surgery. Following the spinal correction procedure, my left leg is now 4 cm shorter than the right one. This was expected after the transformations. Currently, I use special shoes, making the difference less noticeable when walking. However, to ensure the spine’s well-being, we need to ‘level’ the legs. I’m hopeful for your continued support and involvement in this journey.

You’ve given Ekа a new, beautiful life – one without pain and fear, and with countless new opportunities on the horizon. By eliminating the hindrance of poor health, Ekа can now actively pursue a career as a translator after her studies and build a fulfilling personal life. The mere thought of it brings tears of joy to Ekа’s eyes.

To ensure the full realization of the results achieved during treatment, an additional surgery is necessary.  A wonderful girl from the region of Adjara heartily thanks you and turns her prayers and hopes to you.
