This is three-year-old Saba. Take a close look at the child’s T-shirt. Even at a landfill, you’d find a T-shirt in better condition than this one. But the most alarming thing is that Saba has a high fever. Sadly, his single mother can’t buy medicine at the pharmacy because of her dire financial situation. Look at him—he’s drinking hot water without sugar or jam. And no, you’re not mistaken—there’s only hot water in that cup. In his other hand, this little angel holds a dry piece of bread. There isn’t even a slice of cheese in the house. The Khubashvili family has five young children. You’ll hardly ever see smiles on their faces. Oh God, oh God! This is so heartbreaking! Kind people! These little angels have been left at the mercy of fate. The most heartbreaking thing is that with each passing day, they are losing faith. We cannot let this happen! Kind people let’s not abandon these children—already abandoned by their father. A long winter with dark, cold days lies ahead. But kindness, care, and love can brighten even the gloomiest days for these little ones.

Three-year-old Saba, suffering from a cold, drinks hot water because his mother can’t afford medicine due to poverty.

Eight-year-old Nino – a little angel abandoned by her father.
This sweet child opened her heart to the foundation’s correspondent. She is deeply saddened that, unlike other children, she doesn’t have a father by her side. Do you think he passed away? No! Do you think he’s ill? No! He simply left his flesh and blood, never once wondering if his children were starving or freezing.
Three-year-old Saba’s sad eyes…
Seven-year-old Dachi’s heart aches deeply. The boy feels his father’s absence more acutely than any hardship.
No energy in the world disappears without a trace. Sooner or later, everything comes back like a boomerang… The universe, above all, does not forgive those who break the hearts of innocent little angels. No, this isn’t about revenge. It’s the law of the universe! The father who abandoned his children was given another chance to realize his mistake and show even a shred of care. With money? No! Care cannot be bought with money! Money can only buy lifeless objects. To bring joy to a child’s heart, all you need is to be there—both in sorrow and in joy. These little angels have forgiven their father, but the universe hasn’t. Now, he is serving a prison sentence.
Dachi (11-year-old): Unlike other kids, I feel burdened. When I was still in Mom’s belly, my parents separated. I’m seven now, and I’ve never seen my dad. There are five of us children at home. We often go to bed hungry. When I grow up, I’ll help children in need, just like us. Because I know what’s in their hearts.
How many hardships and humiliations has their poor mother endured?
With his little frozen hands, Saba clutches his bread, his eyes searching for soup.
Mom will be putting three-year-old Saba to bed. The child doesn’t even have warm pajamas
He’ll soon fall asleep in the same thin, worn T-shirt. The child doesn’t even have warm pajamas to sleep sweetly. Why, oh God, why? How can this little angel endure so much? Look closely into this child’s eyes. There’s as much sadness there as you’d see in the eyes of a grown adult. Oh God, oh God…
Look at this rusty heater. The freezing children huddle around it, but they can’t get warm. They rent this house. Their poor mother scrapes together every penny each month to keep herself and her five little ones from ending up on the street in the freezing winter.
She works cleaning enclosures at an animal shelter to earn a little money to pay the rent. Every evening, when their exhausted mother comes home, little Dachi hugs and caresses her, saying: “Mom, when I grow up, I’ll work and buy you beautiful dresses. There should be no tears in your eyes, Mommy.” That’s what this wonderful boy said to his mother, hugging her tightly.
Dachi also told the foundation’s correspondent that he and his siblings sleep in the same bed. Sometimes, one of them falls to the floor during the night. Oh God, oh God! It’s unimaginable!
Their single mother lights a candle before the icons every day and prays to the Lord for her children. However, her health has significantly deteriorated. Due to COVID-19, the poor mother has heart problems and struggles to breathe, but she can’t afford to see a doctor. Every penny she has is saved for her children. Only You, Lord, know the fire burning in the heart of this lonely, miserable mother.
The hearts of the Khubashvili siblings beat with love for the Lord. Behind the children’s sad eyes, you’ll find their incredible kindness.
It’s already getting cold – winter is near. But little Nino, unlike other children, isn’t looking forward to the New Year because she can’t wear a beautiful dress to the school party like the other girls. Sometimes she feels teasing from other children, but this sweet angel is so kind-hearted that she responds to mockery with kindness. Oh Lord, how much grace there is in this girl, the namesake of Saint Nino!
Kind people! These little angels have been left at the mercy of fate. The most heartbreaking thing is that with each passing day, they are losing faith. We cannot let this happen! Kind people let’s not abandon these children—already abandoned by their father. A long winter with dark, cold days lies ahead. I prayed to God for my family, for my children to be happy one day. And in answer to my prayers, He sent me you—kind and generous people! From now on, I will pray for you too!
REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS TO THE WORK OF MERCY!
The Khubashvili family is truly celebrating the New Year! It’s an incredible joy to see so much happiness on the faces of these five little children. Kind-hearted people, this is all thanks to you. You’ve given hope to children who had none, you’ve lifted them up and put them on their feet. This Georgian family is deeply grateful to everyone who contributed, even just one lari, to help buy appliances, clothes, food, and other essentials—things that had once seemed completely out of reach for this mother.
Just imagine what your heartfelt donation means for a struggling mother and her five little children. These appliances will ease their daily struggles and bring comfort to their difficult life!
Dachi: “My mom never even dared to dream about owning such expensive appliances. From now on, she’ll be cooking on this brand-new stove, experimenting in the kitchen, and making delicious meals for us. I can’t even remember the last time we ate something really tasty.”
Reporter: Kind people have also sent you a lot of food. What would you like to say to them?
Dachi: “I’ve never seen so much food all at once! Just looking at it makes me feel full! (laughs shyly). But what we loved the most was the meat. I don’t even remember the last time we had meat.”
Pikria (mother): This new gas stove and oven are an incredible gift for us. With the food you’ve brought, I’ll finally be able to cook my children’s favorite meals. May God bless everyone who took our hardship to heart!”
Bachuki: “Oh wow, look how fast this thing heats up—what’s it called again? A toaster? I put some old bread in it, and it came out tasting fresh, like it was just baked! Does this mean we’ll never have stale bread at home anymore? I can’t believe it!”
Thanks to this new heater, this family will no longer have to endure the harsh winter like before.
Pikria (mother): “This heater will warm up our small home so well. It’s brand new and, I think, doesn’t use much gas. This gift will be a symbol of kindness and warmth in our home… How could we ever forget the immense support of the Georgian people?”
Saba: This electric kettle is awesome, Mom! I’ll sit here and count how long it takes to boil. I can even study while I wait and sip my hot tea (laughs).
Saba: “Wow! You brought us such a huge TV! I’m going to tell everyone in the neighborhood that we have a screen as big as in a movie theater. I’ll bring the kids over to watch cartoons!”
Bachuki: I can’t wait to watch our national team’s game on this TV you gave us! It was my dream! I’ll feel like I’m right there in the stadium.
Before the biggest bed was fully assembled, the kids turned it into a game of “gazelle”—competing to see who could jump onto the soft, brand-new mattresses first.
And the moment the workers tightened the last bolt, the children cheered: “Hooray, let’s go!”—laughing and playing on the bed of their dreams.
These new, spacious wardrobes will now hold the clothes donated by the friends of our Fund. And every day, their grateful new owners will send blessings to the kind-hearted people who went out of their way to bring them joy.
Saba: I’ve always dreamed of having a remote-controlled car. They told me that kind angels living on Earth sent it to me. Thank you so much, angels! You made my dream come true.
Saba: Hooray! I finally have my own soccer ball! From now on, I’ll play with my friends!
For these boys, getting a phone and tablet was such an unbelievable joy—they were over the moon with happiness. When we handed them the boxes, at first, they just stood there, stunned. They couldn’t believe there was a real phone and tablet inside.
Georgians, you have changed the life of this struggling family. Aren’t there already too many suffering and impoverished people in this world?
