“It’s also very, very tasty to eat cookies with sweet milk! – says little Barbara enthusiastically. – And watching cartoons is great too. You know, Gio watches them all day long…”

“We are so grateful to you, you brought joy to our family and laughter to our children, you gave us hope,” says Veriko Kirvalidze with tears in her eyes.

A lot of sorrows fell to the lot of the Kirvalidze family, but, despite this, they try to believe in a better future.

We told you about the problems of this family quite recently in our post: https://chernovetskyifund.ge/en/projects/651-kirvalidze/

Sloping walls, sagging ceiling, terrible poverty, children dreaming about sweets. Pain, hopelessness, and fear in their eyes…

– Veriko, how did your life change after we published a post about you?

Veriko: God bless you, thank you very much! When you came to visit us for the first time, and I told you about our problems – how our children are deprived of the simplest joys, in what unbearable conditions we live – I could not even imagine that soon a miracle would happen in our shack – a TV and a washing machine would appear. Thanks to the Fund and to all the kind people that you have united for the sake of good deeds. God bless you!

 – Which of your new friends would you like to note particularly? Do you remember their names?

Veriko: Many people have called us and offered their help – I’m happy. One man called me and said that he had read the post about us, that he wants to help us and wishes us all the best. I really want to thank this person – may the Lord bless him. I beg you, please, write in your article that I am very grateful to this kind stranger. Perhaps this man of God will read your post.

– Was there any response to your problems from the local authorities? Did they react in any way to our post?

Veriko: No… Even more so, since we do not have our own home and we move frequently, our social allowance payments were suspended, and we were left without our only source of income. Actually, they committed to restoring payments from next month, but we still have to survive until that day… I would also like to thank our Head of Administration, he brought toys and sweets to the children for the New Year.

– What does this support and help mean to you?

Veriko: You cannot even imagine how difficult it is to wash every day by hand in cold water, fearing all the time of catching a cold and getting sick. And now I’m just like in a fairy tale – thanks to you. The washing machine has become my faithful helper.

Ramaz: (Shyly, Veriko’s husband joined us.) Thank you very much, this help and your support mean a lot to us. Children do not get enough of the TV, even two-year-old Giorgi can watch cartoons all day long. God bless you!

 – Guys, what gifts did you like the most?

Tamara (15-year-old): I liked everything very much. Thank you! My mother and I no longer bother ourselves with washing by hand and in the evenings we all watch TV together.

 – Who do you want to become in the future?

Tamara: I want to be a doctor. If with God’s help I will be able to graduate from school and continue my studies, then I will certainly become a doctor and help people. I also want to do good deeds, just like you.

Barbare (6-year-old): (Approaches us with her eyes shining and interrupts our conversation with Tamara.) You know, the sweets are so delicious…

– What else did you like?

Barbare: Sweet milk with cookies is delicious too!

– Do you like sweets?

Barbare: It’s so yummy, I can eat it the whole day long!

 – What do you like doing?

Barbare: Watching cartoons. Thank you, you are so nice!

 – Maybe you have some more problems that our readers can help you with?

Veriko: Unfortunately, we still have lots of problems and the most important one – is a problem with foodstuffs.

Tamara: If possible, I want to ask for books, let them be old and shabby, I will still be very grateful.

Veriko: Thank you very much to you and your readers from our whole family. You help people so much! God bless you!

***

Friends, thanks to everyone who helped the Kirvalidze family! I hope that we will keep supporting this wonderful family because they still have many problems. We manage to do a lot of good deeds together, but I still want to ask everyone once again: please, read our posts, tell your friends about them.  Do not pass by other people’s grief, because there are only three worthy things indeed in this life, and these are not “plant a tree, build a house and raise a son.”  The first one – is to help the one who needs help, the second is to protect the one who is defenseless, and most importantly, to give hope to the one who has lost it!

If you have a heavy heart because of everyday problems or unresolved issues, as a distraction just see our posts on Facebook, or better dial the number of any of our beneficiaries. Call them and you will forget about your problems. Because they are nothing in comparison with the problems of those to whom you opened your good heart and came to help in the most difficult moment of their life.

Our problems are noting if compared… Here are true misfortunes, in front of your eyes! Just thank the Lord for what you have. You are the happiest person in the world! Remember this and help those in need.

Unfortunately, problems of this and other families do not end here and now… Therefore, from time to time, look through the stories of unhappy people on our website, talk to them. Every time you dial the Phone of an unhappy person, God is blessing you! For sure! Go on helping these families! This is the best service to the Lord!

Your kindness is a chance for yourself to be happy in everything!

Friends, thanks again to all!
