Granny Maro, 72 years old.

Our beneficiary, 72-year old Maro Mariamidze
has been bedridden for already several years. The three surgeries she has gone
through did not give any positive effect. On the contrary, they worsened her
general condition and increased her severe pain.

She cannot move without aid, and there is no
one to help this poor old lady. She is totally lonely and forgotten by
everyone. She would lie for days on end in bed crying of pain and waiting for
an occasional visitor to give her a glass of water or help her take medicines.
This poor lady lives for a tiny pensions which is hardly enough for tea and
bread.

It would be a true salvation for Maro Mariamidze
if there was a compassionate person in her life to take her under supervision,
as 50 lari per month would save her from total starvation and unbearable cold,
and most importantly, she would be able to fell as a human being!
