Friends, your help has already saved hundreds of lives. And now, it’s time to extend the same support to Georgia’s Paralympic arm-wrestling champion, Valeri Gabelia. The clock is ticking, counting down the days and hours separating him from certain death—unless help arrives in time. Valeri is battling stage four cancer—Hodgkin’s lymphoma. He’s endured 25 rounds of chemotherapy, but after surgery, his condition drastically worsened. In just one month, cancer has almost consumed Valeri. At 45 years old, he now weighs only 43 kilograms. The illness has changed him beyond recognition.

Kristine (44 years old): “My son and I are watching in horror as the man we love is dying before our eyes. Please, help save him! We have no one else to turn to, but we desperately need your support!”
Kristine: “I want us to fight for Valeri’s life just as fiercely as he’s fighting death right now!”
Valeri is currently in the ICU. He’s on a ventilator, but the family has run out of money to continue paying for his hospital stay. His wife fears hearing the dreaded question from the doctors: “Should we disconnect him from life support?”
Kristine: “We can’t afford the treatment, but I can’t imagine ending his life! For him, being taken off the ventilator is like a death sentence. Please, don’t let this happen! I will fight until the very end to ensure they don’t cut off his air or disconnect him. Dear God, how cruel this is!”
Seizures are tormenting Valeri, twisting his bones as if wringing them. It’s unbearable to even imagine how he endures it all, yet he refuses to give up!
As a child, Valeri survived polio. At the age of two, he lost the use of one leg and has relied on a cane to walk ever since. Despite his disability, he worked as a taxi driver to provide for his family and pursue his passion—sports.
Valeri trained in arm-wrestling, participated in multiple Paralympic events, and became a Georgian champion. Valeri Gabelia must win this dreadful battle where his very life is at stake.
Kristine believes and hopes that kind people won’t abandon them in their time of need. Everything depends on your help right now: whether Valeri will return home, see his beloved wife and son again, reunite with friends from his sports team, and ultimately, whether he will survive.
Kind-hearted people, please help save a life! Cancer has left Valeri no time. Immediate treatment is his last chance to live.
If you are willing to visit the family and help them in person, here is their address: Tbilisi, Gldani First Microdistrict, Block 8.
Every time you can help someone, just do it, and rejoice that God answers someone’s prayers through you!
