She once dreamed of a home filled with children’s laughter…But she was left alone in the silence, where only the echo of love lingers. 

Her name is Eka Tsintsadze. She is 51 years old and has no children.

Since her husband’s death, Eka has lived alone. Each day is a battle – not only with pain, but also with the ringing silence of an empty room. She remained faithful to her late husband and first love.

She has already survived tuberculosis, three surgeries, and the removal of her gallbladder. In the summer of 2025, she underwent two more operations in a row – inflammation, infection, blood poisoning… Eka survived, but her strength is fading.

Sometimes she likes to sit in the dark, eyes closed, thinking about her husband.

Eka doesn’t have a home of her own – she’s temporarily staying in this small room. The fridge and TV aren’t hers – they belong to the landlord. There’s no gas stove – even cooking is hard.

Eka receives only 50 lari in social allowance. She can’t afford medicines, medical tests, or even simple food. 

Eka isn’t asking for miracles. She only wants to live like a human being – a little food, some medicine, a table, a few chairs, and a cupboard. Just to feel that she’s still alive, that the world hasn’t forgotten her.

“All my life I dreamed of having a child… of warmth. Now I just dream of not being in pain – and not being a burden to anyone.”

She’s fighting pain, loneliness, and poverty completely alone.

If a kind heart stands beside her, she will have a chance. Let’s help her regain what life has taken away – faith and hope.
