Nutsa is only eighteen-month-old, yet she already knows what it means to fight for her life. She was born with a congenital heart defect. In addition, she suffers from other severe heart conditions. Her tiny heart has already endured two extremely complex surgeries, but her condition remains critical.

Her only chance to survive is a heart transplant.

Mariam, 25 years old (Nutsa’s Mom): “The doctors told me directly that at any moment I must be ready for Nutsa’s heart to stop. And I can do nothing. If only I could tear out my own heart and give it to Nutsa.”
