My first son, Luka, died at the age of 15 from meningitis!  He suffered so much, poor boy! Now my second son, 7-year-old Omari, is dying. Help!!! Save him!!!

IMMEDIATELY REPOST, KIND SOUL! HELP YOUR FRIENDS APPROACH A GOD-PLEASING DEED!

“The eldest son, Luka (pictured on the gravestone), this handsome boy, died at the age of 15 from meningitis. “And as for determining the illness he suffered from his entire life, the doctors either couldn’t or wouldn’t figure it out,” explains Teona, the mother devastated by grief, who now finds solace only in embracing his gravestone. Now I dreadfully realize that the same misfortune could happen to 7-year-old Omari.

Mother Teona: With each passing day, Omari’s condition worsens. He has lost his sight, his hearing has deteriorated, and his brain no longer processes information. He cannot do anything independently. He has also forgotten how to eat; we feed him through a tube, injecting food directly into his stomach. We need expensive medications and treatment, but we have no money!   We’ve spent everything on treating Luka! Now we’ve become completely destitute.

“How much longer can you bear this pain? How many more days will the Lord grant me to find joy in being your mother?!”

Teona: “My husband and I are carriers of the gene responsible for the disease in our children. It’s a very rare condition.”

Thank God the disease didn’t affect our daughter Lika! She’s so kind, loving… And how she loves her little brother, how she wishes for his recovery!

“I don’t want, I don’t want, Lord, I really don’t want for my little brother to die… Please save him, kind people!!!”

“I understand everything he’s crying about… I adore him, he’s my love! I’ve heard countless times in your videos that only God can work miracles!  I believe you and the friends of your Fund know this. So, if you film my brother now, God will see it.Maybe He’ll take pity on little Omariko and heal him! “

“I will give up all my wishes just for Omariko to live.”

“This device (stander) can improve the life of the seriously ill boy. But the family doesn’t have the means to even buy basic medication.”

Teona: «I can’t just sit around and wait for death to take my second son! I want to go to Europe and undergo more tests, whatever it takes. Trust me, I’ll fight until the end!  But I can’t do it alone!”

– How did you meet?

– Teona: I made a good impression on my future mother-in-law, and she arranged our marriage. She came straight into our family and said that her son and I would make a great couple. Maybe that’s why we live in peace and love. But you see how we suffer?

– How did you realize that Omar was not healthy? Were there any problems identified from birth?

– Teona: No! Omar was born healthy, could walk, talk… But at the age of 3, rheumatoid arthritis started, as the doctors told us. His legs hurt badly. In 2019, when our Luka died, maybe due to stress, Omar suddenly stopped speaking and walking. Georgian doctors couldn’t diagnose it, they ruled out genetic diseases. They sent the tests to Germany, and they couldn’t determine what was wrong with my son there either. We went to Turkey, sent tests to Israel, England, and there they found out that my son has a very rare disease with a strange name POU2AF1, unspecified! I also learned that two children in England had this disease, and I wanted to contact their parents to find out what to expect, what to prepare for. Doctors didn’t give me any comforting forecasts. I have already resigned myself to the fact that my son will never be healthy, but how can I make sure he doesn’t suffer, to prolong his life as long as possible and preserve at least the skills he still has?

“Over these years, we have conducted an endless number of tests hoping to see anything that could reassure us, but everyone says that my son is doomed.”

– You have literally challenged death…

Teona: What else can I do? Sit and wait? Watch as death slowly creeps into my son’s body and takes him away? What would other parents do? Sit idly by? I’m doing everything possible and won’t stop! I will send my son’s tests until they confirm the diagnosis and tell me exactly how to treat him, if it’s possible. I even thought about going and seeking asylum in Europe to receive the necessary treatment.

– What stopped you from doing that?

Teona: One son is buried here, and besides Omar, I have Lika, my beloved daughter, here with me, I have family and people, the kindest people who don’t leave me alone in this struggle against death. And who needs me there? Plus, the disease is so rare, the last thing we need is for my son to become a guinea pig! So, here I am. I turned to you hoping for a miracle!

Lika (10 years old): I’ve heard from your videos many times that only God can perform miracles! I think you know Him. So, if you film my brother now, and God sees it, maybe He’ll feel sorry for Omariko and He’ll cure him… We do everything for him, but doctors say it’s impossible to save him.

– Lika, how do you take care of your brother?

Lika: Sometimes I dream of being sick instead of him. I would gladly switch places with him. I love him more than anything in the world, more than myself. When my mom and I are alone, I can even feed him and change him… I understand everything he asks for. But when he starts crying so pitifully, I can’t help but cry myself. I know it’s not right, but tears just flow from my eyes.

– Yes, it’s very hard…

Lika: Yes, I lost one brother, I don’t want to lose another. Then I’ll be all alone. You know how painful it is! It’s like a piece of your heart being cut out.

– You speak like an adult! You must have serious dreams!

Lika: Very much so! But I don’t tell anyone about them. My parents will never be able to buy them for me. All the money is needed only for Omariko. Do you know how much his diapers and these tubes cost? Even dad doesn’t earn that much! And he has the most important profession! He’s a soldier! A defender! And when I grow up, I’ll become both a soldier and a doctor at the same time!

“When mom is busy, I can feed Omariko myself. And it’s a very complicated task – feeding through a syringe. I pour food directly into the stomach through a special tube.”

– Lika, you still haven’t told me what you want for yourself.

Lika: I want beautiful clothes like my friends have, an iPhone so I can draw on it. I also want to go to Bakuriani and play in the snow! All my friends were there, but I’ve never been anywhere. That’s all! But! It shouldn’t be at the expense of Omariko’s health! His health is the most important thing not only for me but for everyone!

Omariko wants to live, and how many days he has left depends on us!

Teona: She’s right, all our resources, absolutely all, go to treating our son. He needs diapers, sanitation tubes, feeding syringes, special food… It’s also vital for him to buy such a device – a stander, which can support him and create a simulation of walking. We also urgently need a special wheelchair tailored to him. Unfortunately, we don’t have the money for all this. They calculated the cost of these vital devices for us at $5000!!! How many years should my husband work for us to save up that much money? And time is passing, and without them, my son’s condition is becoming increasingly difficult. And then death! The salary of a defender of the homeland does not allow supporting the family. That’s why I turned to you. The fact that Omariko is still alive is thanks to the kind people who came to help. And now you are my last hope!”

“Every day, Teona thanks God for another day gifted with her son. She knows her son won’t become healthy again, but every minute spent with him is a blessing to her. Teona’s words sounded like a plea for help in the fight for the life of her little son, Omari. In the eyes of this woman, who has experienced the loss of her elder son and is fighting for the life of her younger one, one could see desperate determination and faith in miracles.

In this difficult moment, Teona turns to you, dear readers, with a plea for help. She believes in human kindness and the power of prayer. Right now, she needs your support, your prayers, to provide her son with the necessary medical supplies and equipment. And we ask that when you pray for the health of your children, don’t forget to light a candle for Omari’s health too! God will hear us when there are many of us!

If you want to visit the family and provide help in person, here is their address: Tbilisi, Varketili, Giorgi Abashvili street, 3, flat 8, apartment 150.

Every time you can help someone, just do it, and rejoice that God answers someone’s prayers through you!

We are sure that all together we will manage to save this family from imminent death.

How your money works. Friends of the foundation purchased a verticalizer for the little seriously ill Omariko. It’s a miracle, now he can stan!

Thank you very much! My little brother is feeling better!  Thank you for being there for him!

REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS TO THE WORK OF MERCY!

“Thank you so much for making our Omariko feel better!”

My family and I never lose hope that my little brother will recover, says Likuna, the sister of 7-year-old Omari, who has brain atrophy, a rare genetic disease. Thank you for believing in this too and for helping us.

It hurts to even think of what this poor child has been through….

We want Omariko’s body not to reject food, so that my brother can gain weight, so that he does not have bedsores, so that he can breathe freely. And the stander you gave us helps with that. Omariko gives us a signal with his eyes when he wants to stand, and we put him in the stander. I wish for all sick children to be able to stand on their feet.

The family and friends of the Chernovetskyi Fund are doing everything they can to make the illness retreat.

– Likuna, how does Omari feel when you put him in the stander?

Likuna: He feels good and comfortable. The first time, he even fell asleep in it (smiles). Although the stander is not meant for that. While he gets used to it, we put him in a vertical position for half an hour. We can do it several times a day for half an hour. This stander is a good thing; it helps in many ways. It helps keep Omariko’s spine straight, teaches him to position his legs correctly, and gets him used to standing again. It ensures that his heart, lungs, and intestines work properly. It prevents his muscles from atrophying. Lying down all the time damages everything, and we don’t want Omariko to get worse. Thank you for preventing that as well. On behalf of my entire family, I express our deep gratitude to you. At this moment, Omariko is doing well.

“The stander is necessary to prevent Omariko from getting bedsores or muscle atrophy and to ensure that his heart and lungs function properly.”

Each session lasts half an hour. Omariko enjoys these sessions.

-You are a smart and sweet girl, speaking so well and maturely. – Did you enjoy your time in Surami, Likuna?

Likuna: Thank you. The Surami air was very good for Omariko. My mom, Omariko, and I stayed there in a guesthouse. We would go for a walk in the morning, then return, put Omariko to sleep, and later go out for a second walk. My brother constantly has mucus buildup, and my mom used to do frequent suctioning for him. But when he breathes in pine pollen or we add it to his food, he gets rid of the mucus much more easily. So it’s very beneficial for him to walk in the pine forest, sleep, and breathe there. Thank you for sending us there for 10 days. The guesthouse owner also wanted to help Omiko and gave us some pollen so we could continue the treatment at home.

Likuna: “The Surami air was very good for Omariko ”.

It’s very beneficial for him to walk and sleep in the pine forest.

Teona, mom: An incredible number of people wanted to help my son, and I am very touched and moved. We have long since spent all our resources on his treatment, and now we rely only on the Lord and kind people. I would never have been able to buy these expensive yogurts (one costs 15 lari) that contain proteins and vitamins and can support my son’s health.

He eats them with such enthusiasm! He also liked the porridges. I really hope he starts gaining weight. Thank you for the medical supplies – not a single day goes by without them – the gastrostomy tubes, syringes, and suction tubes… Thank you for the hope today, and for the hope for the future. I feel that you will be there for us, and just knowing that calms and comforts me. Wishing you all perfect health and God’s reward for your generosity.

Yogurts and porridges to help Omariko gain weight.

– Have you met or talked with anyone from the Chernovetskyi Fund’s friends?

Teona: Yes, of course. A young man visited us with a gift for Likuna – an iPhone. This is how the friends of the Chernovetskyi Fund spoil us. First a tablet for Likuna, now her own iPhone. She was both thrilled and a little embarrassed. Such an expensive gift! And when we learned the story of this man, we could hardly hold back our tears. He also has a seriously ill child, and a daughter who, like my Likuna, takes care of him.

He really wanted to make Likuna happy, to encourage her, and to reward her for her loving care.

Likuna: These gifts put me in a good mood. Our whole family needs strength and a positive attitude to fight Omiko’s illness. I talk to my friends on the phone, have fun, play, and read on the tablet, then return to my brother and try to help him as much as I can.

“I have fun, play, and read on my tablet. But I don’t spend too much time on the internet; I need to look after Omiko.”

Likuna: “I always pray to the Lord for my brother to get better. Please, pray too!”

I feel you have something to say to the friends of the Fund.

Likuna: Please, pray with us. We hope that the Lord will help and that they will find a cure for this strange and terrible disease. Thank you so much for making my little brother feel better at this moment! We can’t plan further ahead yet.

I wish that no one among the friends of the Fund gets sick. And if there are sick children in your families… If you are a mom, dad, brother, or sister of such a child, may they recover soon. And along with them, may our Omiko recover too. May you no longer cry and instead rejoice in your child’s health.

REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS TO THE WORK OF MERCY!

Here is Omiko’s wonderful and fearless sister, Likuna. Friends, a child’s good condition is when he can receive food through a gastrostomy and his vital signs are relatively normal. Because of an unknown disease, Omiko can no longer move, talk, or see… Let’s pray for his recovery, friends, and stay by their side.

If you have a heavy heart because of everyday problems or unresolved issues, as a distraction just see our posts on Facebook, or better call any of our beneficiaries, and all your problems will seem unimportant to you, compared with the problems of those to whom you helped in the most difficult moment of their lives.
