Wherever the girls go, the twins—Lazare and Gio—are right behind! Don’t think they’re too little to take part in everything!
Clear the way to the gate so they can watch the uncles bringing in the new gas stove, or they’ll start such a fuss that everyone in the yard will know about it! And to make sure the twins can reach and touch all the new things, someone has to carry them around. Got it? “To the new fridge!” Lazare points, and his sisters rush over, carrying him along. “To the new cabinet!” Gio demands, and they open it up, letting him sit inside for a bit. That’s how it went the whole day while the Fund delivered the aid. Mariam, Shorena, Khatia, Barbare, and Ani carried their little brothers around, showing them everything—and sharing the joy with all their hearts.

0901200270There are seven of us, and we have the kindest mom in the whole world! Can you imagine—she has no money at all! There’s no one to help her! She cries every time we’re hungry! Please, help us so our mom never has to cry again!
REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS FIND THE WAY TO GOD!
Friends, a family with seven children has reached out to our Fund for help. The little ones are crammed into a single room with a leaky roof. They survive solely on social allowance. But honestly, it’s hard to understand how they manage, especially with both the father and one of the daughters being seriously ill. Father and daughter.
Barbara is a special child, she’s 8 years old and has an intellectual disability. She’s irritable and constantly needs medication. Without sedatives, she won’t sleep through the night. She needs home schooling, but the family can’t afford a special teacher.
The father has a hernia and needs spinal surgery. But instead of going to the hospital, he takes on side jobs to support his family, risking his health even though he’s not allowed to lift heavy things. The mother works as a janitor through a social program, leaving her two-year-old twins in the care of her older daughters. Despite their efforts, the parents have to buy groceries on credit to keep the children from going hungry. Tinatini, the mother, knew her future husband came from a poor family even before they got married, but she wasn’t afraid of the financial struggles. For her, love and understanding are what matter most.
Khatia ,11-year-old: “Please, make it so our mom never cries again! Our mom is a hero, she has seven kids! We love her very much and do not bother her with unnecessary requests. We don’t have toys, or cell phones, or computers. All our classmates have them, but we don’t. Do you know how frustrating that is?”
The children couldn’t hold back their tears as they showed me the conditions they live in. They don’t even have proper beds or mattresses – they sleep on a half-broken couch.
Mariam ,13 years old: “We can’t even invite classmates over. It’s so embarrassing! If they saw how we live, they’d laugh at us.”
The house, indeed, is in terrible condition: the roof leaks, and when it rains, the water pours in just like it does outside. The windows are broken, and the wind blows right through them. The mother tries to stuff the gaps with rags or newspapers, but it doesn’t help much.
Tinatin, Mom (33-year-old): “I’ve gone to the local administration several times, asking for help to fix the roof, but nothing came of it. I’m afraid the house won’t make it through the winter. I don’t want my children trapped under the rubble, but we have nowhere else to go.”
The twins, Gio and Lazare, have earaches, but there’s no money to take them to the doctor. Winter is coming, and the stove in the house is broken. At night, the mother leaves the gas stove on to keep the children warm, Because the little ones often catch colds. And there’s no money for medication.
There’s just one small desk where the girls take turns doing their homework. Sometimes, they have to wait until midnight for a spot to open up.
“Auntie, aren’t you hungry? Want a piece of bread? Help yourself!”

“MY CHEEKS HURT FROM LAUGHING AND SMILING SO MUCH! I’M GOING TO FILM THE WHOLE FAMILY TODAY AND REMEMBER THIS DAY FOR A LONG TIME!”
REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS TO THE WORK OF MERCY!
Tinatin: “Today, there’s no one in all of Khashuri happier than my children!”
Mariam: The twins need yogurt and ‘Barni’ treats, then we can look through the bags with clothes, cosmetics, and toys.
Mariam: ‘We need to give the twins their yogurt and ‘Barni’ treats, so we can calmly check out the gift bags.’
Little one: ‘I’ll finish my yogurt, then I’ll come right back to you all!’
Barbare: I already started looking through things and found myself some nice pants, and I put them on. Look!
Ani: We’re supposed to look together, not sneak ahead.
Barbare: There are a few more like these. There are also winter hats, blouses, pretty vests, dresses, and even a Santa Claus costume! I’ll take everything I choose and put it in the new wardrobe right away.
While everyone was bustling around, admiring the new appliances, Barbare found and tried on some great pants and picked a shelf in the new wardrobe.
Khatia: I’ll just lie down on the new bed with the twins for now, then I’ll start putting things in the wardrobe. Mari, why are you only giving snacks to the twins? Give me some ‘Oreo,’ wafers, and juice too.
Mariam: Sure, go ahead and rest, sis. But I heard your phone arrived in the white charity van!
Khatia: Is she telling the truth?!
– Absolutely!
Shorena: Did mine come too?!
Barbare: And my tablet?!
– Everything is in our white van; we’re giving it all out today.
Khatia: My cheeks hurt from smiling so much—I’ve laughed so hard today! First, I got excited about the chairs, then the new wardrobe and beds, then about the fridge and the heater… What day is it today? I need to write it down to remember how much fun we had. As soon as I get my phone, I’ll take a hundred selfies. I’ll get pictures of everyone—sisters, brothers, and mom. Everyone’s in a great mood today, so the pictures will turn out awesome!
Circling around the new chairs – whoever didn’t have time to sit down is out of the game!
Shorena: When I get my new phone, I’m recording a rap. Is it coming soon?! Hooray! Hooray! I rap well, and I’ll post it online later.
Mom Tinatin: Let them finish their work first. Look how far they traveled to get here!
– This is our work—bringing good news and gifts from the friends of the Fund, making you so happy that your cheeks hurt from laughing. Let’s go to the van to get the phones and the tablet!
Khatia: “As soon as you give me my phone, I’ll take a hundred selfies! Then I’ll take pictures of everyone. Today is such an awesome day!
We can walk in the park and watch ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ on the new tablet! Barbara is quietly delighted!
Tinatin (a few minutes later): My emotions are making it hard to speak. But I’ll pull myself together and say it. Thank you very much to the Chernovetskyi Fund for showing the video about our needs. Our long-standing problems were solved in a short time thanks to the friends of the Fund.
We can bake homemade bread in the oven, just like Tina dreamed of.
A spacious fridge for a big family.
Due to a lack of beds, the children had to sleep closely together. Store-bought bread was too expensive for us, and we couldn’t bake it at home on the old tabletop stove. The fridge didn’t freeze anything… Now I have far fewer household troubles and more opportunities to properly look after the children.
A Fund employee is presenting a new gas heater.
The little one remembered that this thing provides warmth.
I want to thank the friends of the Chernovetskyi Fund, first and foremost, for their love. Your hearts are filled with love, and you do wonderful things. Many responded—both emigrants helped our family, and residents of Georgia came to our home with food and gifts. May the Lord strengthen and bless everyone who has helped. May He reward them for their hard work, efforts, and kind hearts. A part of my heart belongs to my compatriots, and the other part to my emigrants. No one in Khashuri is happier than my children today! That’s for sure! (laughs). The twins are jumping on the bed and singing, while the girls are rapping. You won’t be leaving today until they put on a concert for you (laughs).
The twins were jumping and singing on their new beds.
Girlish tenderness.
– We’re not going anywhere until we listen to everyone. And I won’t ask you about the remaining problems just yet.
Tinatin: Here’s my problem, this roof. The district administration gave me sheet metal to cover it. But they didn’t say what to do about the rotten wood. I’m sitting here confused. And what about the wooden decking? It rains heavily… The windows are broken, we have a glacier and dampness here until we fix it…”
REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS TO THE WORK OF MERCY!
It’s possible to freeze in the house even in sunny weather. We gave them a great gas heater along with other presents. But until the roof and windows are repaired, the children won’t truly be able to warm up. Now we need to conserve heat in this house; that’s where our help comes in.
Thank you for all the gifts and the happy emotions of the children!
If you have a heavy heart because of everyday problems or unresolved issues, as a distraction just see our posts on Facebook, or better call any of our beneficiaries, and all your problems will seem unimportant to you, compared with the problems of those to whom you helped in the most difficult moment of their lives.
Our problems are nothing if compared… Here are true misfortunes, in front of your eyes! Just thank the Lord for what you have. You are the happiest person in the world! Remember this and help those in need.
Unfortunately, problems of this and other families do not end here and now… Therefore, from time to time, look through the stories of unhappy people on our website, and talk to them. Every time you dial the Phone of an unhappy person, God is blessing you! For sure! Go on helping these families! This is the best service to the Lord!
