Five-year-old Anano from the Dagelishvili family is the happiest of all. She skips towards each gift, shouting “Hurray!” and sighs joyfully as she hugs her new things. Anano: “They sent me a beautiful jacket, and I’m already wearing it. It’s pretty, isn’t it? It fits, right? I also found a fluffy sweater for Mom in the clothes. She won’t be cold, and that’s good. And for Elene, I found a tiny little sweater, just like her. It’s so funny. Come on, let’s go look! They sent me so many toys—colorful balls and a jump rope. Will you teach me how to jump? Oh, and can you teach Dad how to use the TV? We didn’t have a remote before, so we don’t know how to use it. And do you know how to turn on the new washing machine? Oh, is this my new bed? It’s so pretty! Hurray! Let’s go check everything out!

0901200270These little ones’ lives are valued at nothing more than scrap metal! It’s horrifying! An epileptic, seriously ill father just wants his children to live! Friends, his family is starving! They urgently need help!
REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS FIND THE WAY TO GOD!
If someone thinks that a sick person is a ‘nobody’ in God’s eyes, they’ve stopped seeing that person as human and are treating them like nothing more than a piece of meat, just like Hitler did—they’ll end up just like him!
Every citizen of Georgia deserves happiness! And who’s to say his children won’t become the pride of our country or be any less worthy than our own? Good job, Beso!
The scrap metal Beso collects barely provides enough to feed his kids. But he needs medications as well. To feed his two little daughters, this man spends every single day at the dump, searching for metal scraps. Nothing hurts a loving father more than seeing his children cry from hunger.
In front of a journalist from the Fund, Beso gathered 15 kilograms of scrap metal and received just 7 lari. What can he buy with that? Medications, diapers, or food?
Beso started collecting scrap metal at the age of 10, right after his father passed away. Now, because of his health problems, he can’t find a job—he suffers from epilepsy. Heavy work triggers severe seizures. Passersby have found this poor man unconscious in the street many times. But he keeps going back to the dump for the sake of his children! Because if he doesn’t, there’s no one else to feed and clothe them. His youngest daughter, Elene, is just four months old! She doesn’t even have a stroller.
And here’s his eldest daughter, five-year-old Anano. The girl goes with her dad to gather firewood so that her mom and little sister don’t get cold.
This poor little girl has to sleep on the floor. Thank you to the kind neighbors who gave them a mattress. They can’t afford a bed. The family has just one blanket, and they use it to cover the baby.
A friend has let them stay in his house for free for a year. But where will they go after that? In 2004, Beso’s parents’ house was destroyed by a hurricane. They can’t afford rent since they only live on Beso’s disability pension. That’s just 195 lari. They don’t have a fridge or a washing machine.
Friends, I could barely hold back tears when I visited this family. The children don’t even have proper clothes. Look at Anano—she’s wearing an oversized t-shirt, tied at the shoulders so it doesn’t fall off. Little Elene doesn’t even have shoes. They put two pairs of socks on her to keep her from getting cold.
We believe that together we can help those in need! Extend a helping hand to Beso and his beautiful little daughters! Let’s show that we are one family! Remember, that by helping others, you draw closer to God!

Anano: “I’ll be a little white wolf for a while. I really like this hat! Then I’ll try on the other hats too!”
“Today is such a great day! I feel so much joy!”
Anano: “They sent me a beautiful jacket, and I’m already wearing it. Why wait? Don’t I look lovely?”
Beso, the head of the family: Thank you to my friends at the Fund, thank you to my fellow Georgians and all of Georgia for the respect you’ve shown me and my family! Thank you for not refusing to help us, for not turning your backs on us, and for knowing how to help someone in need. I love you all with all my heart! It’s hard for me to speak because of my emotions. We are endlessly happy!
Anano: When Daddy smiles so big, it means he’s really happy. And Mommy is smiling too! Today is such a good day! Oh, did you bring my treats? I asked for sweets.
– Here are three big bags of groceries for you. Your task is to find all the sweets among the other food.
Anano: That’s a good game; I like it! And whatever I find is mine, right?
– Yes, of course!
Anano: I found marshmallows—they’re mine! (She pulls them out eagerly.) I found a cake! I found waffles! These are for me too! (She points to muffins. – reporter) Yogurts, more yogurts! Open the marshmallows and yogurt for me right now!
– Look, it says here: “Pink marshmallows for the sweetest girl, Anano.” Here you go!
(Anano beams with joy.)
Anano: “All of this is mine! My hands are just too small to hold it all!”
Anano: “There’s going to be a party now! Get ready! I just need to grab a few more balls!”
– We’ll sort the rest of the groceries later. But we’re not turning on the new refrigerator today. The store staff said to wait a day after moving it.
Rita: We’ll store the food in the cold room for now. We’ve lived, or rather survived, for a long time without a refrigerator, a washing machine, or a TV. What’s one more day? I’m so grateful and happy—thank you all!
Beso: Now Rita has everything; you brought us all the appliances
Beso: Oh, my wife will be so happy! All the appliances arrived at once!”
Beso: “And Rita hasn’t even seen how much laundry detergent they sent along with the washing machine!”
Anano: “And we have beds—two of them! Come on, Dad, let’s sit on the new bed! Don’t you want to? Let’s go, I haven’t sat on it yet!”
Anano: “Is that for my new bed? Hurray! Let’s go see!”
Beso (carrying little Elene in his arms): Let’s go, my daughter! (He smiles broadly.) Today is such a good day. My heart feels light and happy. There were people who saw me as second-rate because I collect scrap metal—they looked down on me. But my friends at the Fund understood me, an ordinary man, and took my story to heart. I wish my friends at the Chernovetskyi Fund never face hardships, now or in the future.
Beso: “My heart is filled with joy. Thank you, my friends at the Fund, for the respect and care you’ve shown my family!”
May God protect you for a hundred years because of this! I want my kind friends to live a wonderful and blessed life. I wish health, prosperity, and happiness to all my friends!
Anano: “Come on, Daddy, let’s sit on the new bed! It’s so nice to sit here, isn’t it? I’m going to sleep here tonight!”
Anano: “I picked out this new sweater for Mommy from the bag of clothes. Look how happy she is that it fits!”
Exhausted from all the excitement of unpacking the new appliances and furniture, the whole family sat down to watch the new TV.
– Beso, what do you need for the winter?
Beso: I’m afraid we don’t have enough firewood. Let’s go to the backyard; I’ll show you what I’ve managed to gather myself.
– This definitely won’t be enough. You’ll need more firewood. Beso, what does the district administration say about firewood and assistance?
Rita: Oh, don’t even get me started on the district administration—that’s my sore spot. I’ll explain it better than Beso can. I believe the district administration is supposed to help the poor. But apparently, they don’t see it that way. Our family, with two small children and a husband with epilepsy, urgently needs housing. Just one room would do. Right now, we’re living here for a year because a kind person let us stay. After that, we’ll be homeless. But the district administration only agreed to pay for three months of rent for some apartment. And after that? Figure it out yourselves. Is that fair?
That’s why I didn’t vote for the people who came around before the elections. They showed up all high and mighty. What do I care about their roads and asphalt if my kids are hungry, and my husband has no medication?
Beso: My epilepsy medication costs 25 lari—it’s not financed. When I have it, I take it; when I don’t, I suffer seizures. That’s our life, my dear kind people. We have one year to find a roof over our heads.
Friends, to keep the Dagelishvili family warm all winter, they need firewood. Let’s not forget that five-month-old Elene needs plenty of diapers, formula, and baby food. (Rita can’t breastfeed due to stress.) Beso needs to take his epilepsy medication regularly. All of this is necessary for our beneficiaries, the Dagelishvili family, to keep smiling not just today, on the day of gifts.
If you have a heavy heart because of everyday problems or unresolved issues, as a distraction just see our posts on Facebook, or better call any of our beneficiaries, and all your problems will seem unimportant to you, compared with the problems of those to whom you helped in the most difficult moment of their lives.
Our problems are nothing if compared… Here are true misfortunes, in front of your eyes! Just thank the Lord for what you have. You are the happiest person in the world! Remember this and help those in need.
Unfortunately, problems of this and other families do not end here and now… Therefore, from time to time, look through the stories of unhappy people on our website, and talk to them. Every time you dial the Phone of an unhappy person, God is blessing you! For sure! Go on helping these families! This is the best service to the Lord!
