Every day is a fight for survival for Kristine and her little daughter, Lile! And today, they desperately need your support! The mother has cancer—her toxic goiter turned into a malignant tumor, but she has no money for medical tests or treatment. Not a single tetri!
Every story of fighting cancer is a story of strength, resilience, and the will to live—of immense faith. Faith that kind people won’t let her die!
Kristine (39 years old): “I am in excruciating pain. It’s unbearable. There are moments when I think about ending it all because I just can’t take it anymore. But then I remember—I am a mother. I have to live for the sake of my child! She has no one but me! Who will take care of Lile if I’m gone?! We lived in Germany as refugees. After we were deported, we were left with nothing—no home, no money, no documents. My daughter’s passport was lost at the airport. When we returned to Georgia, we had to live on the streets for several days. We had no money for a hotel, so we slept near 24-hour ATMs. That was the hardest ordeal of my life!”

Kristine: “A lump has formed on my tongue, and it keeps growing. And the bigger it gets, the worse the pain! Please, help me get medical tests—I beg you! ”
Lile (4 years old): “Auntie, look! My mommy has no medicine left! She doesn’t have money to buy more.”
Lile: “I feel so sorry for my mommy. I can’t bear to see her cry. I cry too!”
The family has no income. There is no one to turn to for help! Thank you to the relatives who took them in. Kristine is unable to work because of her health issues. And she can’t even apply for social allowance because her daughter’s documents are missing. For a year and a half now, little Lile has been in limbo. She was born in Germany, and to get a passport, she needs a foreign birth certificate. But her mother has been unable to get an appointment at the German consulate for over a year and a half!
Recently, Lile got sick—she developed a rash and a high fever. An ambulance took her to an infectious disease hospital. But because she has no documents, the hospital refused to treat her for free and billed the family 2,000 lari. Heartbroken, the mother had no choice but to take her daughter home and continue treatment on her own. Where could she possibly get such a huge sum of money?
Kristine: “Oh God, my daughter and I have suffered so much! My husband was addicted to gambling—he wasted all our money. Then he left the family. Now he doesn’t even ask how we are and offers no help at all.”
Friends, as long as there is life, there is hope! Please help Kristine and her daughter survive! Give this mother a chance to heal and live a long and happy life! Her little girl needs her so much!
