What did
your children do when they were 11? They are not little any more, but still
they plunder like children… and they are so noisy at times! Surely every parent
had a moment in his life when he dreamt that his child would sit at list half
an hour in silence and let you have a rest… and the mother of 11-year old Luka
has only one dream – so that her son does not cry of pain, that he does not
have convulsions… and just stay alive!

Luka was born with a diagnosis of infantile cerebral paralysis.
One could easily imagine the condition of his parents: the birth of the
long-waited child turned their life upside down. The live in constant fear for
their child who has problems with speech, movements and general development.

All these years Luka’s parents did everything so that their
child would live: they treated him at home, brought him to a doctor, bought
medicines, introduced to the society keeping an eye on him. But Luka’s
condition seriously worsened last year in may. The kid started suffocating, he
lacked air, started hitting against the floor in horrible pain… 

He was
urgently hospitalized with acute respiratory failure, and then operated and
connected to an artificial lung. Luka has been staying in such a condition for
about 5 months…

“Yes, almost 5 months as was not living, I did not know
what to do with myself, I was crying and praying God that my son would not die.
The doctors struggled for his
life till the end and… there was a miracle, Luka survived”, – says Nazi
Krichashvili, the kid’s mother.

To avoid
further complications, they installed a tracheostoma to Luka, i.e. an
artificial breathing throat which requires replacement every month and a half.
One could tell that the child is still alive thanks to this. 

But we
should be kind to help such people and save them from ill fate! 

Dear
friends, Luka lives in a very poor family which still exists thanks to the
pension of the granny and grandpa. Unfortunately, due to unknown reasons their
social status has been suspended, they do not have anybody to help, and the ill
child is suffering! 

Luka needs
a number of medicines, diapers, sanation tubes, hygiene products… Oh my God,
how could a family afford all this when they hardly find money to buy bread?!

Dear
