REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS TO GET CLOSER
Damned death does not want to retreat – but Giorgi can and should defeat it with our help!

“You will not take me away from my mother!”

Giorgi was born eighteen months ago, and every day is a battlefield with death for him. Death does not want to retreat – and Giorgi does not give up either.
He is still a baby – I wonder how he endures that much. I do not think an adult could endure such pain.
– Tamara, what is wrong with Giorgi?
Tamara: Giorgi is a martyr – he was born with a severe bowel disease. He was operated on in his very first days – they brought his gut out, then brought it back …  They did it 7 times! Seven times I let my child go under the knife, under anesthesia. Can you imagine how it feels?

“Will he suffer for long?”

– And what about his condition now?
Tamara: Now he feels much better, but he might need to be operated on again. All these interventions had consequences. Several times he almost died of infection. He has become very weak from so much anesthesia. He can only eat special food, special porridge, but I have no money even for potatoes and bread. He also needs medications, diapers… Eh, an ordinary person should not get sick in our country.

‘When the baby is not hungry, he’s just happy”

– What is your income and how much do you spend per month on essential needs?
Tamara: Our income is a social allowance of 500 GEL. We need about 100 lari for medications, almost the same amount for transportation to the rehabilitation center. The state finances our treatment – I would never be able to cover such costs myself. When my poor husband was alive, we were not as unhappy as beggars. And now I have debts in every store. The older children can somehow stand without food, but what to do with Gio? He suffered enough.
– What happened to your husband?
Tamara: He experienced a lot because of Gio’s disease. He almost died during each operation. You know, because of nerves – first, his lungs failed, then the liver. He died in a matter of days. I miss him a lot. It is hard to be without him. He worked day and night so that the children would eat normally, study. For me, he was a husband, a brother, and a dad.

“I imagine that my dad left for work and will come back soon – it is much easier to live with such thought.”

– You talk about him with so much love, how did you meet him?
Tamara: My aunt introduced us to each other. He was twenty years older than me. I was 16 and I immediately realized that no one would love me as much as him. I felt so good and calm with him. But a person is not destined to be always happy.
– You have two more children, could you please tell us about them?
Barbare (9-year-old): Let mom tell you about David, and I will tell you about myself.
Tamara: I have the most wonderful kids! After the death of his father, David became the head of the family. “No matter that I am 17’” – he said, – “I must take care of you”. After school, he helps neighbors to collect grapes, saw firewood, and clean the yards. He brings this money home so that we always have money for medicines and doctors for Gio. He is a very kind boy – like his dad. I think it is impossible to teach kindness – it is from God!

“I am a helper. I can cook, and wash dishes, and entertain Gio!”

– Barbare, now it is your turn to tell us about yourself.
Barbare: I am 9 and I go to school. I can’t work and support my mom yet. I help her with housework. I sweep, I wash dishes. Sometimes I want to wash the laundry, but my mother says that the girls cannot hold their hands in cold water, otherwise they will have no children. I don’t know, maybe she came up with this so that my hands would not freeze?
– What a good girl you are! So, your mother and you need a washing machine?
Barbare: Sure! And we also need foodstuffs.
– What do you need personally, what you dream about?
Barbara: I love reading, in the evenings I read fairy tales to Gio, I also like drawing and dancing. And I dream about one thing – a phone or a tablet. When I grow up, I will be a teacher. I have the best teacher – I want to be like her. I’ll show you what I drew for her. Do you think she will like it? If I have felt-tip pens, I will draw this to you too!

“My teacher Maia, I love you, and I want to be like you”

– Tamara, how can we make your life easier?
Tamara: My poor husband dreamed so much of saving up money and refurbishing the bathroom, but everything he had saved up in the last years went to his funeral. The poor one – he suffered so much. We miss him very much. If we only could, we would renovate our bathroom. We also need foodstuffs, and I told you about diapers and medications before. I don’t mean to be disrespectful, but I would like to ask you to give us a washing machine and a small refrigerator. I don’t dream about anything else. What can one dream about when his child is sick?
Barbare: May I tell you about my dreams? I want pencils and felt-tip pens, and also a tablet or a phone like all girls have. Because sometimes I forget that I’m a girl.
* * *
We hope that soon there will be no more families living in extreme need in Georgia – we hope we will manage to defeat poverty. We hope that our children will live in a more beautiful and rich country. But while there still are people who cannot cope alone and only hope for the help of unfamiliar kind people to survive – we bring their desperate cry for help to your hearts. We know for sure that as soon as you learn about them, you will help them – you simply cannot do otherwise! Having opened your soul to God once, you won’t be able to just pass by without helping them!
The Prodiashvili family needs food, medications, and diapers, and they also need their bathroom to get refurbished. If there will be any chance to buy a family a washing machine and a refrigerator – it will be really cool. The tablet, beautiful dresses and stuff for drawing will make one little angel the happiest girl in the world!
If you decide to meet the family, their address is: Gurjaani Municipality, village Kardenakhi.
Every time you can help someone, just do it and rejoice that God answers someone’s prayers through you!
We are sure that all together we will manage to save them from imminent death.
Please don’t forget to repost our story. Let your friends know about the grief of this family! It’s extremely important!

When death and disease knocked us down, your kindness brought us up

REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS TO GET CLOSER  TO THE WORK OF MERCY!

The smile of that anguished little boy is your merit

When miracles happen, Georgians say: “Something unknowable does exist.” By this “something unknowable” some mean one thing, others another… I believe that all these good people were sent to me by the soul of my late husband. His prayer saved us. When my husband died, I didn’t know how to continue my life without him… How would I support my three children? My little Gio has such terrible problems. He has had seven major surgeries. Every time we discharged the baby from the hospital, he was half-dead. My husband was very worried about it, and it drove him to his grave!  When death and disease knocked us down, your kindness brought us up. Yes, yes! Something unknowable does exist!”

Do you see, my dear readers? You have warmed the home of one more family, given a widowed mother a smile, and made the days of three sweet children beautiful. Thank you for that.  Thank you for all your kindness!

“I dreamed of just such a tablet and at that time I didn’t want to wake up … And now, I have it!”

We knew that after publishing a post about the Podiashvili family, their lives would change for the better. Because in our Fund miracles happen every day, but it is very hard to convince of this people who are exhausted by a hard life.

Barbare (9-year-old): A big car came to us many times and brought us many gifts. We had none of that. We didn’t have anything…

  • What makes you so happy, Barbare?

Barbare: How not to rejoice? Look, just look: My mom has a washing machine! No more hand washing. We have a TV,  a refrigerator, medications for Gio, we have gas! We have porridge for Gio. And I have… (Mischief appears in her eyes)

“I can turn it on and order: Wash the laundry, friend! »

– And what about you? What do you have?

Barbare: They gave me the tablet of my dreams! I could not even imagine that I would have it! I don’t believe it! Mommy will tell you how I danced for joy when they gave me this little box. I dreamed not to cry with joy.

“I greet you all from my beautiful tablet.  Here I can also draw using special programs”

– Tamar, I want first to ask you about Gio. What is his state of health at the moment?

Tamari:  Gio is doing better. After seven surgeries, we are now undergoing rehabilitation. I would like to thank your Fund for contacting the public defender’s office. They responded promptly. The local social service gave us a 300-gel voucher for special food for Gio and a 200-gel voucher for hygiene products and diapers. This was very important to us.

– Tamar, we are happy that we managed to change your life for the better at least a little.

Tamari: Oh! A little? You have given us boundless joy. I would like to thank everyone for such support. My orphaned children and I will never forget these days… When someone asks me to list the happiest days of my life, I will always remember them!

“I look at this refrigerator with hope.  I think we won’t run out of food either… It would be nice if that was the case! “

– What did you like the most?

Tamari: You have chosen all the gifts for us with such precision… Like people say – “I dreamed about it”, “this is exactly what we need” – that’s how it happened!  Your fund is doing so great: you come, get to know us, a spiritual bond develops between us, you pay attention to all the details and remember everything. We already consider you our family… Thank you for every gift and for the support you have given to my children. Special thanks for the washing machine – it made my work easier. My baby is sick, and you probably know what kind of care he needs. I had tons of laundry piled up. Washing laundry with hands in cold water is so hard.

The little “robber” grabbed the remote control and turned on the cartoons

– Barbara said you like detectives…

Barbare: Did the fridge make you happy? Throughout the summer, in the heat, you dreamed of cold water. You’ve worked so hard and got tired. And we couldn’t even give you  cold water at home

“Refrigerator, refrigerator, fill up!”

– Tamar, a lot of people read the article about your trouble. Has anyone called you? Has anyone come to visit you in person to help?

Tamari: Yes! One good young man called us. His name is Mate. He came to visit us along with his colleague girl. I don’t know where they work, but I know it for sure they are amazingly smart and kind young people! They brought us lots of groceries and the necessary items. The New Year was coming. We didn’t even have firewood. We were cold. Thanks to them the New Year is warm and prosperous for us.  They even paid off our debt for gas and electricity. I would like to thank them through your article. I would like to tell them that I will always remember them. I will always pray that this kindness will return a hundredfold to these wonderful young people.

“I can even help my mom make soup. Cooking is more fun with the new gas stove”

– Tamar, although we all tried to somehow make your life easier, but this would not put an end to your problems. You have many more needs, and we again want to ask our faithful friends and readers to help you with solving them. What is the most important thing for you at the moment?

Tamari: The most important thing for me is the health of my Gio. At the moment, he needs examinations, consultations with a urologist, a neurologist and a surgeon. The artificial gut that was implanted in him requires constant monitoring. In addition, he had epileptic seizures after his fifth surgery – can you imagine how devastating it is for his body to have so much anesthesia at such a young age? He also has a developmental delay. Gio definitely needs a medical exam. None of this is funded, and I can’t save that kind of money. Even a visit to the doctor costs a lot of money – incredibly expensive for me!

Barbare: I need school supplies and my bag and shoes are torn. Can you give me new notebooks and pens at least for the new school year? I promise to do well at school. From the fifth grade, the teachers will give us grades, and you will see that I will get three tens and sometimes even four at the same time.

Barbara’s voice rang in my ears for a long time, the tinkling voice of a girl who longed for school supplies. And her mother does not have the money to buy them. She needs to take care of the sick Gio first. Her mom doesn’t have the money to go to the doctors. It is so hard when you are poor and sick at the same time. Our dear friends, we address you again! Let’s not leave this family in trouble, let’s unite! Let’s help little Gio, let’s fulfill the dream of his family!

If you have a heavy heart because of everyday problems or unresolved issues, as a distraction just see our posts on Facebook, or better call any of our beneficiaries, and all your problems will seem unimportant to you, compared with the problems of those to whom you helped in the most difficult moment of their lives.

Our problems are noting if compared… Here are true misfortunes, in front of your eyes! Just thank the Lord for what you have. You are the happiest person in the world! Remember this and help those in need!

Unfortunately, problems of this and other families do not end here and now… Therefore, from time to time, look through the stories of unhappy people on our website, talk to them. Every time you dial the Phone of an unhappy person, God is blessing you! For sure! Keep on helping these families! This is the best service to the Lord!

Friends, we have one more request for you – if you find out that your friend or neighbor needs help, please show your caring attitude and drop us an email at: office-fsp@fsp.ge

Your kindness is a chance for yourself to be happy in everything.

Friends! Thanks again to everyone!
