Doctor-killer!!! Due to a mistake by doctors at one of the most famous clinics, today George Kapanadze is fighting death. A year ago, the man had a heart attack. During a heart stent, due to the doctor’s negligence, an infection entered the body. As a result, a nine-centimeter-sized tumor appeared on the aortic valve, due to which the man suffered three strokes in six months. Yes, it was due to the doctor’s negligence that the hard worker was “stuck” between two worlds. And this is worse than death itself!

Look at this unfortunate man – he has only half a head. In the house of George Kapanadze, a more horrifying picture than I could have imagined awaited me, a correspondent for the Chernovetsky Fund. In the room I saw a practically dead man who was only breathing – and even then, with great difficulty.

In a small damp room, George, emaciated to the bone, lay unconscious. Looking at him, I had the feeling that someone who had died long ago had been taken out of the grave. Cross yourself, everyone! Let only joy reign in your families, but at the same time, do not forget: right now, at this very moment, someone is fighting death – someone’s son, someone’s father, someone’s sister… At that very moment, when the cheerful laughter of your loved ones sounds in your homes, remember: at this very moment, someone’s son, someone’s mother took their last… last breath.

And this is George’s wife, Eka, in whose heart there still lives the same strong love as many years ago, when she became his wife.

Yes… For more than a year now, the unfortunate woman has been looking at her half-dead, skinny-to-the-bone husband. Despite everything, the fire of love still burns in her heart. And this is true love!

Who knows what awaits us in life?  

Look at this photo taken about 25 years ago. Is this really George? Is this really the man who is now reduced to a skeleton? Is this really the man who is now missing half his skull, and every breath brings him closer to death? Yes, this is the same George… 

And next to her is Eka, for whom her husband was the main support in life. But, alas, the wheel of fate turned in the opposite direction, and the roles changed. Today, this gentle woman is like a bird with clipped wings. But, despite all the sorrows, she still remains the only support for George. God, give strength to this worthy woman who has such sincere love! She is a worthy mother! A worthy person!

Unfortunately, the Kapanadze family is constantly haunted by misfortunes, one after another. First, George and Eka’s son, 26-year-old David, known for his hard work, integrity and kind heart, got into a terrible accident. After that fateful day, metal plates were inserted into the unfortunate guy’s legs, and since then he can only stand on his feet for a short time.

Just imagine what a psychological trauma this was for a young guy who has yet to start a family. And what does a mother feel who has only one son – and he is in such a state? It is up to you, our dear readers, to draw conclusions.

In the room of the Kapanadze family, where the fear of death has settled, the only light comes from this bulb. Imagine: the dim light coming from it is the only hope for a family facing such great trials. Perhaps even from this photo alone you have already understood that the Kapanadze family lives in poverty. Add to this the threat of losing their home, which is becoming more and more real.

The thing is that the whole Kapanadze family (father, mother and son) earned their living by honest work, working in a furniture store. Although the salary was small, their home was always warm and had delicious food, because everyone was healthy and full of energy. But after that tragic day, first the son lost his health, and then the father “stuck” between life and death…

The unfortunate woman was forced to mortgage her apartment to the bank, because without money, the fight for her husband’s life made no sense, unfortunately. However, even these funds were not enough. Poor George suffers greatly… His eyes seem to say: “Kill me so that I can rest.” But our mission is to make life conquer death.

George needs 800 GEL worth of medications every month. He also needs rehabilitation, physiotherapy and stimulation – all of which are associated with large expenses. One day costs 250 GEL. Now, friends, multiply this amount by one month, and you will understand how much the life of this honest, hard-working and pious man costs today.

George also needs bandages and personal hygiene products, which are quite expensive. It is one thing when a person fights death, but it is even more important that the disease does not humiliate his dignity. Imagine: a strong man, instead of medical diapers, is wrapped in rags – and all this only because of damned poverty.

The one who is reading this article now – it doesn’t matter, a woman or a man. Age doesn’t matter either. The main thing is that you are a person, and you have a family, in which there is always a man (father, brother, son, husband or even grandfather). Now imagine for a moment what you would feel if your father or beloved husband were in George’s place. Surely an unpleasant shiver ran through your body. Yes… this is the very inexpressible horror and pain that people experience when their loved ones die before their eyes, and they, because of poverty, cannot help them in any way.

If you are reading this article, I have only one request for you: imagine for a moment that your dearest person is in Giorge’s place. And then act as your heart tells you. If you still cannot donate even one lari to save this unfortunate man, then at least share this article so that all of Georgia knows: Giorge’s life is now in the hands of each of us.

In the US or Europe, such a “mistake”, and in fact a murder by negligence (from 2 to 6 years of imprisonment), would have allowed this heroic man to provide not only for himself, but also for many generations that will come after him! Tens or hundreds of millions of dollars – legal and fair! But in this situation, our hero is about to lose his apartment. His wife had to take out loans for medicine and to support the family.
