Before tragedy struck, Likuna loved singing, dancing, and taking tons of selfies. But then, during a game, one of the kids accidentally hit her in the head with a rock. Since then, her family has only seen her distant expression, worrying during her epileptic seizures, and dressing her in diapers. It seems like her mind is asleep. But when we arrived to deliver the presents you provided to the single mother Tamara and her four daughters, we were in for an emotional shock! The workers carried a fridge into the house, set up a new gas stove, and brought in a washing machine. The only thing left was the TV. Likuna showed interest in it, so we played a Rihanna song for her… And Likuna danced like she used to! She smiled like she used to! She was happy and free from her illness for those four minutes! In those four minutes, we, moved to tears, witnessed the miracle your kindness worked!!! Lika needs to continue her treatment; it’s a matter of utmost importance. The Tsukhishvili family is deeply touched by the tireless attention you’re giving them. How we wish for the illness to recede! With faith in Lika’s recovery, we will continue to help her!

0901200270There’s nothing worse for a loving mother than watching her own child slowly die!
REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS FIND THE WAY TO GOD!
18-year-old Lika, along with her three sisters and devastated mother, are crying out to our hearts and to God for help!
Lika’s imminent death has a name – the terrible disease of Alzheimer’s! If we don’t help now, it could take her any day!
Four years ago, a neighbor’s boy accidentally threw a stone to knock an apple from a tree, hitting Lika’s central nerve in her head.
Poor child! She immediately lost consciousness and fell to the ground in terrible convulsions. That day, her joyful childhood ended. From then on, the Tsukhishvili family’s life turned into a living hell.
It was as if the stone was thrown by the hand of death itself!
When they called Lika’s father, who had cruelly abandoned her mother during the pregnancy with their youngest daughter, screaming “Lika is dying!” the scoundrel only replied: I don’t care what happens to her, take care of it yourselves.
Lika is now 18 years old, and for the past four years, she has suffered terrible seizures up to seven times a day! Due to brain damage, she is completely cut off from our world. She only knows four words: “yes,” “no,” “mom,” and “grandma.”
During her attacks, Lika’s sisters kneel by her bed for hours.
Four poor girls, abandoned by their father… Look, friends, look at how the sisters kneel by Lika’s bed for hours, listening with fear to her heartbeat. “Is she still alive?” they whisper to each other.
Their mother, Tamara, feeds Lika bread by hand. Most of the time, bread is the only food in the house. Often, the sisters hardly get anything to eat. But no one in this family complains. Here, love and compassion reign, something that often lacks even in very wealthy families! They just want Lika to live!!!
A starving abandoned pregnant woman with three hungry angels. God, God! Just imagining this scene makes the blood chill. But a Georgian mother is the fiercest in the world and will give her own life for her children if necessary.
Tamara stands by her child’s bed for hours, holding an icon of the Virgin Mary in her hand.
“Holy Mother of God! You are a mother too, hear my plea!”
For four years, this desperate mother has watched her daughter’s suffering daily, unable to help due to poverty. She lives, if you can call it living, on social assistance money, which all goes towards paying the rent and buying two kilograms of pasta.
Lika can’t even dress herself without help.
She struggles to move. They can’t leave her alone in the yard because of her brain damage… Who knows what could happen?
This is 5-year-old Barbare. It was this little angel that Tamara was pregnant with when the scoundrel father abandoned them. The child cries from hunger.
Natia (Lika’s sister, 19 years old): “When this tragedy happened to my sister, we immediately informed our father, but his response froze my heart. My own father shot an arrow into my heart and wounded me. I live only for my sister. I want to see her as she was before she turned 14. We don’t ask our mom for food because we want to save every penny for our exhausted Lika. Please, don’t leave my kind sister in this eternal hell! She doesn’t deserve this. She was the kindest and warmest child I have ever known.”
The poor girl sits on a torn sofa with springs digging into her side. Doomed if help is delayed…
REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS FIND THE WAY TO GOD!
While writing this very, very sad and tragic story, a thought flashed through my mind: when did Lika suffer more?
When that cursed stone hit her head and damaged her central nerve, or when she realized that her father’s heart was made of stone?! Now, friends, together we are the only hope for this poor child!
Lika needs expensive medication and, of course, a thorough examination in Turkey! Together, we have already saved many children in our country. We refuse to believe the verdict of Georgian doctors! May the Lord help restore Lika to a full life! But without us, His hands won’t touch the unfortunate one!
If you are willing to visit this family and help them in person, here is their address: Bolnisi, 90 Tamar Mepe Street.

SEVERELY ILL LIKUNA DANCES TO A RIHANNA SONG! IT’S A MIRACLE YOUR KINDNESS HAS WORKED!
REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS TO THE WORK OF MERCY!
We turned on the new TV, played a Rihanna song, and suddenly Likuna started dancing!

Likuna danced and smiled like she used to! She was happy and free from her illness!
Tamara, Mom: I want to hug each of you right now! For being part of the Chernovetskyi Fund and its wonderful circle of friends—such warm, kind-hearted people! With you, I don’t feel awkward or shy when I talk about what I need. I feel open and safe because I’m talking to true, close friends.
I’m a single mother of four daughters, without any income or the ability to work, and for several months now, I’ve been living without fear or anxiety. Because the Fund’s friends have made our lives so much easier. When we needed food or medications, all our expenses were covered. I just went and picked out what we needed. No appliances? Suffering without them? Here you are – have a house full of them—no more suffering! Here you go, Tamara – everything at once: a new stove, washing machine, fridge, and TV. You saw how old our stove was, right? It’s already out on the street. We painted it to keep it in shape, and then tossed it. There’s no issue in our family that hasn’t gotten your attention!
The old stove is now retired.
Tamara: “A whole set of appliances in one day! Give me a moment to catch my breath from all this joy!”
Do you know how I feel? It’s like the Chernovetskyi Fund held a family meeting, and their wise, kind friends decided how best to help us! And they didn’t forget anything! It’s incredible! It’s something not everyone is lucky enough to experience!
– Tamara, to be honest, that’s exactly how it happens. The Fund’s friends got a full picture of your challenges and got to work.
Tamara: I reached out to other organizations as well to show them my urgent problems and the tragedy with my daughter. However, they just delayed and left me empty-handed. I had some bad experiences.
But now I’m speaking to those who hear me, and who have great compassion! Because of you, today my daughter Likuna danced! Please show this to everyone, I beg you! How I dream of bringing back the old Likuna! Maybe we can make it happen? She needs to continue her treatment, visit the doctor in Tbilisi regularly, and take her medications. With your help, I now believe that miracles happen.
We are in the hands of warm and loving people! That’s why, even in what felt like a hopeless situation, I’ve found a glimmer of hope. There is such a joy in my home. You have wonderful people in your team, and the Fund’s friends are just as wonderful! Everyone smiles, helps, radiates positivity and love. The worker from the furniture store was smiling as he assembled our new beds! He said, ‘For your happiness, for your well-being, for a good life!’
As soon as the last screws were tightened in the new beds and the mattresses were set, Barbara started twirling and tumbling with joy.
Everyone around you is like that! I admire all of you and am proud that Georgia has such amazing, golden-hearted people! And, of course, I pray to God to protect you and grant you long, beautiful lives!
During breaks from playing, Barbara tried on her new clothes and shoes.
– Our project is designed so that the state responds as well. Are there any updates for your family?
Tamara: I’ve noticed that the social services have become very attentive to us since your letter to the Public Defender. My youngest, Barbare, has speech difficulties, and they helped get her set up with a speech therapist. We’ll be going twice a week. They gave us a voucher for 300 lari. I’m happy with that.
Ani: My sisters and I really appreciate and love the Foundation’s friends for helping our family and our Likuna. I will often make her happy by playing her favorite songs on the big screen. Thank you for taking care of our sister—bringing her diapers, medications, and tasty food.
Thanks for the gifts for Barbare and me too! I’ll give you all a kiss on behalf of the Foundation’s friends! I was shy to ask for a phone for myself and a tablet for Barbara. I understand that Likuna is the priority right now. But I thought I’d just ask; maybe I’d get lucky… You’re all so sweet! One more kiss! (smiling)
Look at how many selfies I’m going to take now! Selfie addict! Will you help me pick the best ones? And I’ll take some pictures of Barbare in her new clothes too. Shh! (smiling) I should do it secretly; I know her well. If you ask her directly, she’ll start acting shy.
Ani: “I’m going to take a dozen selfies now! Will you help me choose the best one?”
Barbare, secretly filmed with her new tablet.
– Come on, Ani, snap away! Then we’ll sit down together and choose. Let your mom tell me about Lika’s treatment. What’s the situation now, Tamara?
Tamara: We’re stuck. We need to take Lika to Tbilisi; there’s a doctor there who’s been monitoring her. But I can’t use public transport from Bolnisi to Tbilisi – Lika can’t handle it; her behavior can be unpredictable. It could even lead to the worst-case scenario. Only a taxi works, but we don’t have the money for that. We need tests, new prescriptions from the doctor, and then the medication. We really need it, and as soon as possible. I’m saying this without hesitation because you’re my friends, and there’s nothing to hide.
Tamara: “I’m so happy we have a supply of diapers! Thank you for your care! I ask for your help so Lika can continue her treatment.”
Lika needs to continue her treatment; it’s a matter of utmost importance. The Tsukhishvili family is deeply touched by the tireless attention you’re giving them. How we wish for the illness to recede! With faith in Lika’s recovery, we will continue to help her!
