Tiny Babi, just 1 year and 8 months old, is fighting for her life in intensive care at this very moment. She has a rare and severe genetic disease that is destroying her body from within.

Tamar, 29 (Babi’s mother): “I hold her in my arms and pray that she opens her eyes again… that she says even just one word…”

Her kidneys were the first to fail – she developed acute kidney failure. Babi has already undergone dialysis four times. And the most frightening part – there is almost no improvement.

With each passing day, her condition worsens: the veins used to administer medication are clotting one by one. Today, only ONE remains…

ONE VEIN—and her entire life depends on it…

It all began quietly, like an ordinary childhood illness: nausea, weakness. Nothing seemed alarming.  But then the little girl began to fade, and no one could understand why. Doctors searched for answers for a month and a half before finally making a diagnosis.

Tamar, 29 (Babi’s mother): “My daughter was so full of life – she ran, she talked… and now she just lies there and looks at me as if asking for help, and I can do nothing… I would give everything, even my life, just for her to be healthy again…”

Only a special medication can save her now. Without it, her organs will continue to fail – one by one.

The cost of one ampoule is 9,820 lari. One has been funded by the Ministry of Health. But to begin treatment, she needs at least two.  After that – treatment must continue every week.

Babi’s family has no money left for this costly treatment. They have already sold everything they could. Friends, we are standing on the edge of a tragedy. Either we help her right now – or we may lose this child forever.
